Kitchen Table Talks Tonight: Learn About Genetically Engineered Food

If you’ve ever wondered what the term “genetically engineered food” really means and are unsure how much of what you eat actually falls under that label, check out Civil Eats’ latest installment of Kitchen Table Talks tonight. Listen to UC Berkeley Microbial Ecologist Ignacio Chapela and Center for Food Safety attorney Zelig Golden as they pull back the packaging to reveal the complex issues of genetically engineered foods. I’ve been to a few of these talks and I assure you they are extremely eye opening and worth your time. Plus you are surrounded by people who also care about what is going into their mouths, which makes for a fun mingling session.
