Most granola bars you find lining the notorious”inner” shelves of supermarkets are laden with corn syrup, funky preservatives, and hydrogenated fats. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I counted over 20 ingredients in one box, including some I could barely pronounce like sodium bicarbonate, soy lectithin, tocopherol, and partially hydrogenated soybean oil.
