Time to toast the start of Pumpkin Spice everything season with a scrumptious cocktail!
Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. Giant warm sweaters, cozy blankets and pumpkin picking. What better way to end a day of leaf peeping then with a cocktail that is basically autumn in a glass?
Traditionally Horchata is a creamy rice milk based sweetened with sugar and flavored with cinnamon. Fortunately you can find it already blended with rum at your local liquor store ready to go. This recipe is a great way to use up that little bit of pumpkin you have left after making pie. Horchata pairs perfectly with pumpkin in this recipe to bring you wonderful tastes of nutmeg, cloves, ginger and cinnamon. Deep fall flavors in a pumpkin cocktail. Prefect to sip on while you cozy up to the cooling weather outside.
Note: This recipe is easily made non-alcoholic just replace the Horchata with cream or Almond milk.
